The terms governing DOLMBI LTD transport and logistics services

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at bainlmb.uk and the transport and logistics services provided by DOLMBI LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17106027), with a registered office at 15 Cliff Drive, Sheerness, United Kingdom, ME12 4PJ.

By submitting an enquiry, accepting a quote, or engaging DOLMBI LTD to provide any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

References to "we", "us", and "our" mean DOLMBI LTD. References to "you" and "your" mean the customer placing an enquiry or booking a service.

2. Our Services

DOLMBI LTD provides the following transport and logistics services within the United Kingdom:

  • Same-Day Courier (local, within Sheerness and surrounding areas)
  • Express UK Delivery (dedicated vehicle, direct route, nationwide)
  • Light Haulage (loads up to 1 tonne)
  • Home & Office Removals (domestic and commercial relocations)
  • eBay & Online Marketplace Collection and Delivery
  • Contract Logistics (scheduled, ongoing business transport)

All services are provided within Great Britain only unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

3. Placing a Booking

Services are ordered by submitting an enquiry through our website contact form, by email to [email protected], or by telephone on 07828 714 866.

A booking is confirmed only when we have provided you with a written quote (by email or message) and you have confirmed acceptance of that quote. No contract exists until both parties have confirmed in writing.

You are responsible for providing accurate collection and delivery details, including addresses, access requirements, contact names, and descriptions of goods. Inaccurate information may result in delays or additional charges.

4. Pricing and Payment

Prices displayed on this website are starting rates and are provided for indicative purposes. Your final price will be confirmed in a written quote based on the specific details of your job.

Payment is made on an invoice basis. We will issue an invoice following completion of the service, or prior to completion as agreed. Payment terms are as stated on the invoice (typically within 7 days of invoice date for business customers, and prior to or on delivery for private customers).

We accept payment by bank transfer. No payment is processed through this website.

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

5. Cancellation and Amendment

You may cancel or amend a confirmed booking by contacting us as soon as possible. Cancellations made with reasonable notice (typically more than 24 hours before the scheduled collection time) will not incur a cancellation charge.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or where we have already mobilised a vehicle, may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover reasonable costs incurred. This will be communicated to you clearly before any charge is applied.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking in the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control (see Section 9). We will notify you as promptly as possible and offer a rescheduled date or full refund.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree that:

  • All goods presented for collection are legally owned by you or you have authority to arrange their transport.
  • Goods do not include any prohibited, illegal, or hazardous items (including but not limited to: controlled substances, firearms, explosives, or materials regulated under UK law).
  • Goods are appropriately packaged and prepared for transport.
  • You or an authorised representative will be available at the collection and/or delivery address at the agreed time.
  • You will provide accurate address details, access instructions, and any special handling requirements.

Failure to comply with the above may result in the service being declined, delayed, or subject to additional charges. We accept no liability for damage or loss arising from inadequate packaging or inaccurate information provided by you.

7. Liability and Claims

We take reasonable care of all goods entrusted to us. In the event of loss or damage caused by our negligence, our liability is limited to the lesser of: the repair or replacement cost of the item, or £100 per consignment, unless a higher declared value has been agreed and confirmed in writing prior to collection.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, consequential, or economic losses (including lost profits, contracts, or business opportunities).
  • Loss or damage arising from inadequate packaging by the customer.
  • Delays caused by traffic, adverse weather, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • Loss or damage to prohibited items or goods not declared at the time of booking.

Any claim for loss or damage must be notified to us in writing within 48 hours of delivery (or the expected delivery time where goods were not received). We reserve the right to investigate claims before accepting liability.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other matter which cannot be excluded by law.

8. Refund Policy

If a service is cancelled by us (and not as a result of your breach of these Terms), you will receive a full refund of any amount already paid for that service.

Refunds for services that have been partially or fully completed will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the circumstances and any costs already incurred.

To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with your booking reference and details of your request. We aim to resolve all disputes promptly and in good faith.

9. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events, circumstances, or causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, road closures, vehicle breakdown, civil unrest, pandemic restrictions, or acts of government.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, and design, is the property of DOLMBI LTD or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
